Insight Medical Consultants was founded by Delia Chiaramonte, M.D. Dr. Chiaramonte is a clinical assistant professor of family medicine and the Director of Education for the University of Maryland School of Medicine Center for Integrative Medicine. She has experience providing primary medical care as well as direct patient advocacy and she serves as an Assistant Medical Director for Gilchrist Hospice Care.

Dr. Chiaramonte is Board Certified in both Family Medicine and Integrative and Holistic Medicine and has advanced training in Mind-Body modalities, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and integrative palliative care. She has published in JAMA, Pediatrics, and Primary Care Clinics and has co-authored a book chapter on combining Traditional Chinese Medicine and conventional medicine in the care of cancer patients. Dr. Chiaramonte has been a quoted expert on patient advocacy topics by the Wall Street Journal, CNN, and USA Today.
