Delia Chiaramonte, M.D.

Dr Chiaramonte is a Board Certified Family Physician. She attended medical school at the Medical College of Pennsylvania (Drexel University) and completed her Family Medicine Internship, Residency, and Faculty Development Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has practiced full spectrum family medicine in rural and urban settings and taught fledgling doctors as a Family Medicine attending in a suburban Baltimore residency program. Dr. Chiaramonte has served as Chairperson of a Family Medicine Department, created and chaired multiple hospital committees and published in medical journals. She has won awards for teaching excellence, has experience training non-physician patient advocates, and currently serves as Assistant Hospice Medical Director for Hospice of Baltimore (Gilchrist). She has particular interest in the care of cancer patients, patient education and the effect of stress on health and wellness. She is a member of the American Holistic Medical Association, The American Psychosocial Oncology Society, The American Medical Association, and the American Academy of Family Practice. She lives with her husband, two children, and two dogs in Baltimore, Maryland.
